A Beautiful, Timeless Tale of Love
As a wedding planner, I have the privilege of witnessing love stories unfold in the most magical ways. When Gurkaran reached out to us for help planning his proposal to Simran, we knew it was going to be something special. His vision? A breathtaking proposal on top of a glacier. But as any planner knows, nature sometimes has its own plans, and on the day of the proposal, the weather just wasn’t on our side.
With time ticking and excitement high, we had to think fast. I suggested a gorgeous lakeside location—secluded, intimate, and surrounded by nature’s beauty. Gurkaran loved the idea, and we quickly pivoted to make it just as memorable. We prepared an engagement basket filled with sweet treats, champagne, and special touches to celebrate the moment (assuming, of course, that Simran would say yes—after all, they are high school sweethearts!). And just as we expected, she did!
What made this journey even more special was that after the proposal, Gurkaran and Simran reached out to us again—this time to help plan their engagement and wedding events.
For their engagement party, they wanted something unique and fun, so we helped them plan a beautiful celebration on a boat. The evening was filled with love, laughter, and stunning waterfront views. Their wedding was a deeply spiritual affair held at a gurdwara, a reflection of their values and love for tradition. And for the grand finale—their wedding reception—we secured a stunning hall, ensuring the night was filled with elegance, joy, and unforgettable memories.
Being part of Gurkaran and Simran’s journey, from the surprise proposal to their wedding celebrations, was truly an honor. Their love story is one of warmth, laughter, and deep connection, and we are so grateful to have played a role in these beautiful milestones.
