Haylie and Mehtab, who live in the United States, reached out to us in 2023 to help plan their wedding in Vancouver. As the wedding day approached, I focused on making sure Haylie didn’t feel stressed. My main goal was for her to feel supported and able to enjoy every moment. Weddings can be overwhelming, but I knew if we took care of the details, she could focus on celebrating with her loved ones.
When the first event went off smoothly, I could see the relief and happiness on Haylie’s face. The stress melted away, and everyone was able to enjoy the celebrations. It was amazing to watch two families come together and create such beautiful memories.
By the end of the celebration, it became clear that this wasn’t just a professional relationship. Haylie and Mehtab had become friends, and that’s the best part of our job.
